SCOPE OF WORK <br />TASK 1.0 PROJECT INITIATION <br />TASK 1.1 - PROJECT KICK-OFF MEETING <br />RBF/UDS will meet with City of Santa Ana Staff to discuss the project, <br />set schedule milestones, set workshop meeting dates and generally <br />discuss the events that have occurred to date. City of Santa Ana Staff <br />will give RBF/UDS all background studies, reports and other information <br />that will be useful for the successful completion of the Work Program. <br />TASK 1.2 - INITIAL WORKSHOP WITH STAFF <br />REVIEW COMMITTEE <br />RBF/UDS proposed the utilization of a Staff Review Committee during <br />the development of the Design and Development Standards Manual. <br />This Committee will consist of representatives of various departments, <br />including building and safety, current planning, advanced planning, <br />code enforcement, housing, and other representatives and deemed <br />appropriate by City staff. <br />This Review Committee will be a valuable resources throughout the <br />entire process, and will enable RBF/UDS to illicit responses from a <br />variety of staff members with a variety of backgrounds. The RBF/UDS <br />team recommends onlyl 1 Staff Review Committee meetings throughout <br />the project timeline. <br />TASK 1.3 - FIELD RECONNAISSANCE <br />A field reconnaissance of the City will be conducted, This <br />reconnaissance will focus on particular areas identified by staff and the <br />RBF/UDS team. Particular attention will be given to urban design <br />elements in the public realm, the Downtown/Civic Center area and the <br />City`s historic neighborhoods.
