E <br />EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant's designee, Mr. Steve Harding, will be placed as the Interim Executive Director of <br />the Planning and Building Agency of the City. Consultant's designee shall perform all duties <br />and responsibilities of this position, as set for in the Santa Ana Municipal Code and pertinent <br />City policies, including day-to-day administrative, supervisory and technical oversight of the <br />Planning and Building Agency. Typical duties would include but not be limited to: <br />• General supervision of Agency personnel <br />• Delegation of work assignments to Agency personnel <br />• Review of staff, developer and property owner generated documents and applications <br />• Interface with property -owners, business operators, citizens, elected and appointed <br />officials as required <br />• Representation of Agency at internal and out -of -office meetings, as required <br />• Review and finalize Planning Commission, Historic Resource Commission, Zoning <br />Administrator and/or City Council reports <br />• Review and finalize Agendas <br />• Other duties as assigned by the City Manager <br />For this interim assignment, a weekly time commitment of approximately thirty (30) hours <br />would be necessary. The actual time commitment and "In Office" schedule would be at the <br />direction of the City Manager. For staffing purposes, Consultant agrees to reduce its hourly <br />Principal/Director hourly rate from $160 to $135. <br />
