E EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES Consultant's designee, Mr. Steve Harding, will be placed as the Interim Executive Director of the Planning and Building Agency of the City. Consultant's designee shall perform all duties and responsibilities of this position, as set for in the Santa Ana Municipal Code and pertinent City policies, including day-to-day administrative, supervisory and technical oversight of the Planning and Building Agency. Typical duties would include but not be limited to: • General supervision of Agency personnel • Delegation of work assignments to Agency personnel • Review of staff, developer and property owner generated documents and applications • Interface with property -owners, business operators, citizens, elected and appointed officials as required • Representation of Agency at internal and out -of -office meetings, as required • Review and finalize Planning Commission, Historic Resource Commission, Zoning Administrator and/or City Council reports • Review and finalize Agendas • Other duties as assigned by the City Manager For this interim assignment, a weekly time commitment of approximately thirty (30) hours would be necessary. The actual time commitment and "In Office" schedule would be at the direction of the City Manager. For staffing purposes, Consultant agrees to reduce its hourly Principal/Director hourly rate from $160 to $135.
