The parties entered into an Agreement dated February 24,2003, (hereinafter "said <br />Agreement") by which Consultant has provided drug education, health education and <br />drug awareness classes for the inmates of the City's jail. <br /> <br />B. In accordance with the tenus and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />include within said Agreement, services provided prior to the effective date of said <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject <br />to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First <br />Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />I. Paragraph 3, TERM, shall be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />This Agreement shall commence on February 24, 2003 and tenuinate on December <br />31,2003, unless tenuinated earlier in accordance with Section 12 below. The parties <br />acknowledge that Consultant has provided services since January 1,2003, and intend <br />for those services to be included within the scope of this Agreement. The tenu of this <br />Agreement may be extended upon a writing executed by the Chief of Police and the <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br />2.
