VII. HAZARDS/HAZARDOUS MATERIALS <br /> <br />A. Create a significant <br /> through the routine <br /> materials? <br /> <br />hazard to <br />transport, <br /> <br />the public or the environment <br />use or'disposal of hazardous <br /> <br />B. Emit hazardous emissions or handle hazardous <br /> hazardous materials, substance or waste within <br /> mile of an existing or proposed school? <br /> <br />or acutely <br />one-quarter <br /> <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />The operation of the proposed project would not involve <br />activities that would emit hazardous emissions or involve the <br />routine handling of hazardous or acutely hazardous materials. <br />Construction operations associated with the proposed project <br />could involve incidental handling of hazardous materials such as <br />solvents, paints, gasoline and oil. However, the proposed <br />project would be subject to compliance with local, state and <br />federal laws and ~egulations regarding the storage and handling <br />of hazardous materials. Compliance with local,'state and federal <br />laws and regulations would reduce the handling of hazardous <br />materials to a level considered less than significant. <br /> <br />Be located on a site which is located on a list of <br />hazardous material sites compiles pursuant to Government <br />Code Section 659662.5 and, as a result, would it create a <br />si~nificant hazard to the public or the environment? <br /> <br />No Impact <br /> <br />According to the EDR database, state and federal records and the <br />City Santa Ana Fire Department, the project site is not included <br />on a list of hazardous material sites. Implementation of the <br />proposed project would not create a significant hazard to <br />the public or the environment. <br /> <br />For a project located within an airport land use plan or <br />where such a plan has not been adopted, within two miles <br />where a public airport or public use airport, would the <br />project result in a safety hazard for people residing or <br />working in the project area? <br /> <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />According to the Orange County Airport Land Use Commission <br />Airports Environs Land Use Plan, the project site is not located <br /> <br />31 .A. <br /> <br /> <br />
