As part of the City's development review process, emergency <br />access was evaluated by the Santa Aha Fire Department. The Fire <br />Department determined that the proposed project did not provide <br />any constraints for adequate emergency access. <br /> <br />F. Result in inadequate parking capacity <br /> <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />A total of 203 parking stalls are required for the project. <br />However, a total of 116 would be provided. To meet the parking <br />standard, a minor exception would be required to allow the <br />project to share parking with the future Catholic Cathedral to <br />the east. <br /> <br />Conflict with adopted policies supporting alternative <br />transportation <br /> <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />The Orange County Transportation Authority operates a fixed <br />route bus service when the project area. Metrolink and Amtrak <br />Train Service would also be available through bus service to the <br />Santa Aha Regional Transportation Center. The proposed project <br />would not be in conflict with any City policies regarding <br />alternative modes of transportation. Nor would implementation of <br />the proposed project displace any existing modes of public <br />transportation provided within the project area. <br /> <br />XVI. UTILITIES and SERVICE SYSTEMS <br /> <br />D. Are sufficient water supplies available to serve the <br /> project from existing entitlements and resources or are new <br /> or expanded entitlements needed? <br /> <br />Potentially Significant Unless Mitigation Incorporated <br /> <br />The City of Santa Aha Water Department would provide domestic <br />water service for the proposed project. The City of Santa Aha <br />produces water from two sources. The Orange County Groundwater <br />Basin provides 66% of the annual water supply and the <br />Metropolitan Water District provides 34% of the annual water <br />supply. The City of Santa Aha has 19 active wells with combined <br />capacities of approximately 42,500 gallons per minute. The City <br />also has seven MWD connections with combined normal operating <br />capacities of 20,700 gallons per minute.
