Agreement, when it was originally executed; <br /> <br /> (ii) It does not materially change other terms of this Agreement, and <br /> <br /> (iii) It is supported by adequate consideration to COUNTY. <br /> <br />Board of Supervisors' action is necessary to approve a request from CONTRACTOR that does not satisfy all of the <br />criteria listed above. <br /> <br /> PARTICIPANTS <br /> <br /> 26. (a) Benefits. CONTRACTOR shall provide wages and benefits to individuals who participate in <br />the activities and services funded by this Agreement ("participants") in accordance with the standards and <br />requirements of the Act, including Section 181 of the Act. <br /> <br /> (b) Labor Standards. CONTRACTOR shall adhere to the Labor Standards described in the Act, <br />including Section 181 of the Act. <br /> <br /> (c) Complaint Handling Procedures. CONTRACTOR shall comply with the "Complaint Handling <br />Procedures" under the WIA Act, a copy of which is available from H&CSD. CONTRACTOR shall advise <br />participants of their rights to file complaints under the Act and of the procedures for resolution of any complaints. <br />CONTRACTOR shall follow COUNTY'S procedures for handling complaints alleging a violation of the Act, <br />regulations, grants or other agreements under the Act, and any decision of the COUNTY, the State or the Federal <br />government relating to the complaint shall be binding on and shall be followed by CONTRACTOR. <br />CONTRACTORS shall operate a grievance system that incorporates the COUNTY'S procedures for resolution of <br />complaints relating to the terms and conditions of employment; these procedures shall be approved in writing by <br />H&CSD. <br /> <br /> (d) Nondiscrimination and Compliance Provisions <br /> <br /> (1) As a condition of this award of financial assistance under the Act to CONTRACTOR from <br /> <br />Contract/93283 <br />REV 08/25/03 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br /> <br />
