As part of the <br />project implementation, Motorola, Inc., was selected as the department's <br />vendor for the vehicle radio modems and the radio network controller. <br />These items allow the officer's laptop computers to communicate with the <br />police communications center. In order to keep these components in good <br />working condition it is necessary to renew the one-year service <br />agreement.
