Chr <br /> <br /> THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered into <br />on the 2qt~day of 3"anoctvxl ,2004, by and between Bagel Associates, LLC <br />("Consultant") and the City of ~anta Aha, a charter city and municipal corporation of the <br />State of California ("City"). <br /> <br />Recitals: <br /> <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement #N-2003-134, dated September 17, 2003, <br /> (hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided actuarial consulting <br /> services to the City. <br /> <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br /> increase compensation to pay for services provided by Consultant. <br /> <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject <br />to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First <br />Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Paragraph 2.a., COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase compensation by <br /> $5,000 for a not to exceed amount of $10,000 during the term of said Agreement. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to <br />Consultant Agreement on the date and year first written above. <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~7~ <br />PATRiCIA E.
