<br />'8 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON <br />MAIN STREET DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />November 19, 2003 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting convened at 7:25 a.m. in City Hall, Room 831, 20 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE <br />City Council Committee members present were: Council member Claudia Alvarez and <br />Councilmember Lisa Bist. Absent was: Councilmember Jose Solorio. <br /> <br />Staff members present were: City Attorney Jo~ Fletcher, Community Development <br />Agency Executive Director John P. Reekstin, City Engineer George Alvarez, Planning' <br />Manager Jay Trevino, Community Preservation Inspector Alvaro Nunez, Associate <br />Planner Bob St. Paul and Project Manager, Vicki Uehli. <br /> <br />Members of the public present were: Michael Macres and Ben Grabie!. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES - October 15, 2003 <br /> <br />Action: The minutes were approved by Councilmember Bist who was <br />appointed by the committee to approve the minutes (Solorio <br />absent). <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />PROPOSED CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS <br /> <br />Alvaro Nunez reported that citations are continuing. They will be focusing on <br />Downtown window signage. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />PROJECT UPDATES <br /> <br />a) SWC First and Main Streets - To date a first class restaurant has not been <br />identified. The Agency has not been successful in acquiring the Tang <br /> <br />13C-1 <br />
