DISCUSSION <br /> <br />to prepare and authorize the City Manager and <br />to execute a two year agreement with Red1ands <br />Geographic Information System programming and <br />Public Works Agency for an amount not-to-exceed <br /> <br />The Public Works Agency continues to expand the Geographic Information <br />System and is working on projects for agencies throughout the City. <br />Programming and technical services are needed to assist with the <br />implementation of these projects. The work to be done includes assisting <br />staff with project design and set-up, programming and technical database <br />support. <br /> <br />Several years ago staff solicited proposals. for these services from <br />qualified firms. Redlands Software was selected based on their <br />qualifications, past experience and capacity to perform the required work <br />and an agreement was approved. Redlands has performed well and at this <br />time it is recommended that a new two year agreement with Redlands <br />Software Inc. be awarded for a not-to-exceed cost of $120,000. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />The proposed agreement will have a limit of $120,000. Funds in the amount <br />of $60,000 for the first year of the amendment are available in the <br />Administrative Services Fund for other consulting services (account no. <br />101-601-6291).
