<br />Contract Amendments with FEZ <br />Daisy Wheel Network Program <br />April 5, 2004 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager <br />and the Clerk of the Council to execute a contract amendment with <br />Orange County Conservation Corps in an amount of $50 for a total <br />contract not to exceed $99,915. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager <br />and the Clerk of the Council to execute a contract amendment with <br />The Cambodian Family in an amount of $339 for a total contract not <br />to exceed $80,339. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager <br />and the Clerk of the Council to execute a contract amendment with <br />Taller San Jose in an amount of $276 for a total contract not to <br />exceed $132,662. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />On January 28, 2004, the Santa Ana Empowerment Corporation awarded the <br />Santa Ana W/O/R/K Center an additional $12,000 for marketing and outreach <br />efforts for their Federal Empowerment Zone Daisy Wheel Network program. <br />The additional funds will be allocated as follows: Catholic Charities - <br />$615; Delhi Center - $4,267; Mexican American Opportunities Foundation - <br />$5,414; Orange County Conservation Corps. - $50; Cambodian Family - $339; <br />Taller San Jose - $276; and the Santa Ana W/O/R/K Center - $1,039. These <br />funds will be used to provide outreach materials and activities for use <br />by the partner agencies to generate additional referrals for the Daisy <br />Wheel Network. <br /> <br />25G-2 <br />
