NS-2647 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTIONS 2-300 AND 2- <br />300.5 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE <br />ESTABLISHING THE TITLE OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR <br />OF PLANNING AND BUILDING AND MAKING OTHER <br />TECHNICAL MODIFICATIONS TO THE TITLES OF <br />OFFICERS AND DEPARTMENT HEADS OF THE CITY. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Council is desirous of changing the title of the head of the City's <br />Planning and Building Agency from Deputy City Manager for Development <br />Services to Executive Director of Planning and Building; and, <br /> <br />Over time the titles for various city officers and department heads as used <br />in the City's Salary and Wage Schedule have differed from the same <br />officer's designation in the Municipal Code, and the Council is desirous of <br />conforming these titles recognizing that there is no affect on compensation <br />or benefits for these positions. <br /> <br />Section 2. Section 2-300 is amended by the deletion of reference to the deputy <br />city manager of development services, adding the title of executive director of planning <br />and building, and revising various titles of city officers to reflect current popular <br />designations, so that it shall read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 2-300.
