' <br /> <br />EJC:jd <br />1/12/83 <br />.- <br />¡:? 6-:{-/é. <br /> <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AND GROUP W CABLE, INC. <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into <br /> <br />1~ <br />ð" <br />Santa Ana, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br /> <br />this 114-- <br /> <br />, 1983, by and between the City of <br /> <br />("Grantor"), and Group W Cable, Inc., a corporation organized <br /> <br />under the laws of the State of New York ("Grantee"), <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H <br />---------- <br /> <br />Recitals: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The City of Santa Ana and Group W Cable, <br /> <br />Inc., previously entered into that certain franchise agreement <br /> <br />for the operation of a cable television system on June 21, <br /> <br />1982, hereinafter referred to as "said agreement." <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The parties desire to amend said agreement to <br /> <br />provide clarification regarding satellite earth stations and <br /> <br />service, rates and charges. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The parties desire to amend said agreement to <br /> <br />include a deposit charge for converter placement under certain <br /> <br />conditions. <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the respective and <br /> <br />mutual covenants and promises hereinafter contained and <br /> <br />made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions hereof, <br /> <br />the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />c.
