Funding is monitored through a depreciation <br />schedule established with each department. <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Jail uses two transport vans to convey prisoners <br />throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County jail systems. Due to age <br />and condition, two 1990 Ford vans have been budgeted and approved for <br />replacement in the current fiscal year. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on March 19-20, 2004, and bids <br />were solicited.
