Currently, the Agency is utilizing the <br />consultant services of URS, Inc. to inspect all commercial and industrial <br />sites within the city to ensure compliance with the permit. <br /> <br />In accordance with the City's stormwater permit, all high priority <br />industrial sites need to be inspected annually, medium priority <br />industrial sites inspected semi-annually, and low priority commercial <br />sites inspected once every three years. URS has extensive experience in <br />this field and has been providing quality service to the City of Santa <br />Ana. Staff is recommending an amendment to an existing contract with the <br />firm of URS Inc., in an amount not to exceed $470,000. This extension is <br />needed in order to meet the inspection schedule requirement as outlined <br />in the permit. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the <br />recommended action is not considered a CEQA project.
