Traffic flares have a variety of <br />uses by the officers, including the routing of traffic during special <br />events, and cordoning off traffic during crime and accident <br />investigations. <br /> <br />The City Council adopted Ordinance No. NS-2312, authorizing the City to <br />purchase against contracts with other government agencies utilizing a <br />competitive bid process. A Cooperative Purchase Provision between the <br />County of Orange and Adamson Industries for traffic flares was awarded <br />as a result of open, competitive bidding, and meets the City <br />requirements. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />22J-1 <br />
