The site is <br />located at Fourteenth and Poinsettia Streets in Santa Ana, (Exhibit 1). <br /> <br />Construction bids were received on January 11, 2002, however, only two <br />bids were submitted and both were significantly above the project budget <br />amount. Therefore, the construction contract was not awarded. <br /> <br />Since that time, the City has completed some of the improvements with <br />City forces such as new piping, valve vault, and appurtenances. This new <br />contract will include revising the plans and specifications to reflect <br />work already completed, providing construction support services, and <br />additional work to include: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Inspection, evaluation, and design of new exterior coating <br />system on the exterior support structure as well as the tank <br />itself. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Evaluation of existing conditions and design of a new interior <br />coating system for the water tank. <br /> <br />25D-1 <br />
