Department <br />~f Housing and Urban Development Housing <br />~portunities for Persons with Aids Program <br />Fiscal Year 2004-2005 <br />May 3,2004 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />HIV/AIDS infected and affected individuals, and City staff participated <br />in the meeting. <br /> <br />Based on the strategic planning meeting, the fiscal year 2004-2005 <br />funding recommendations were established. The recommended funding levels <br />are: 1) $500,000 to continue the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program <br />with the Housing Authority of the City of Santa and AIDS Services <br />Foundation Orange County; 2) $675,000 to the Orange County Health Care <br />Agency for supportive housing services to individuals throughout Orange <br />County; 3) $50,000 to AIDS Housing Washington to perform a needs <br />assessment and provide an Orange County HIV/AIDS Housing Plan; and <br />4) $43,080 for administrative costs. It was also recommended that the <br />remaining $167,920 would be held available for a future development <br />project. <br /> <br />FISCAL :IMPACT <br /> <br />AUD provides HOPWA funds to the City. No additional City funding is <br />~ecessary.
