<br />No permit shall be issued for a wall sign which does not comply with <br />the following standards: <br /> <br />1, <br /> <br />2, <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Ordinance No, NS-2650 <br />Page 14 of 24 <br /> <br />Number, <br /> <br />a, <br /> <br />Dealerships offering two or less manufacturer's makes of <br />new automobiles for sale shall be permitted one wall sign <br />for each make on each wall of the showroom building up <br />to two signs per make of automobile, <br /> <br />b, <br /> <br />Dealerships offering three or more manufacturer's makes <br />of new automobiles for sale shall designate one <br />manufacturer's make that he carries his primary line of <br />new automobiles, The remaining makes of new <br />automobiles shall be designated as secondary for <br />sign age purposes, Primary and secondary lines shall be <br />permitted the following: <br /> <br />(i) <br /> <br />The primary make of new automobiles shall be <br />permitted a total of two wall signs, The wall sign(s) <br />may be placed on the showroom and/or service <br />building, <br /> <br />(ii) <br /> <br />Secondary car lines shall be allowed one wall sign <br />for each make of automobile, The signs shall be <br />located on the showroom building, <br /> <br />Sign Area and Length, <br /> <br />a, <br /> <br />The sign area shall not exceed 40 percent of the signable <br />area, to a maximum of two square feet of sign area per <br />lineal foot of building frontage, <br /> <br />b, <br /> <br />The horizontal dimension of any wall sign shall not <br />exceed 80 percent of the horizontal dimension of the <br />building elevation on which the sign is located, <br /> <br />Location, <br /> <br />a, <br /> <br />The signs on the showroom or main service building shall <br />be located on the top of the fascia or wall facing the main <br />street access. <br /> <br />Exhibit "B" <br />Page 9 of 19 <br />
