<br />. <br />"' <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Consultant shall provide a series of oil painting classes for adults as follows: <br /> <br />FEES <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Consultant shall conduct a 2 Y, -hour class, once a week during four-week sessions. <br />Consultant sill provide appropriate materials and supplies needed to conduct the classes. <br />Classes will be held on Fridays at the El Salvador Recreation Center, commencing <br />August 6, 2004. <br />Classes will be held on Thursdays at the Memorial Recreation Center, commencing <br />October 7, 2004. <br />Class time for each session will be from 6:00-8:30 pm. Consultant may adjust the <br />schedule, based on the availability of rooms in the City's facility. <br />Each class shall have a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 20, registered and paid <br />participants. <br />If the minimum registration has not been reached by the first class, the class may be <br />cancelled by mutual agreement of Consultant and City, with no compensation owed <br />Consultant for any cancelled class session. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Each participant shall pay a $27.00 class registration fee per class, (not per session). <br />An additional $15.00 material fee shall be paid by each participant directly to the <br />instructor each class (not per session). <br />Participants may register for any or all of the classes during the four-week session. <br />No refunds will be made to participants after the first week of class unless the class is <br />cancelled by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency. <br />City shall collect registration fees from each participant. Consultant shall refer interested <br />students to City for registration. <br />Consultant shall receive seventy percent (70%) of total fees collected for the classes <br />within fifteen (15) working days after completion of each class session. City shall retain <br />thirty percent (30%) of the fees collected. <br />Consultant agrees that City shall be entitled to audit Consultant's records and classes to <br />ensure compliance with this Agreement and that all participants are registered. <br />Consultant may not waive class participation/registration fees. <br />City shall prepare class rosters and provide a copy to Consultant.
