<br />A-2003-273 <br /> <br />~i5C.ß ~ <br />J /fÝ'..~ð <br />11. o'J .ì <br />l-' Cpa <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />BETWEEN <br /> <br />THE COUNTY OF ORANGE <br /> <br />AND <br /> <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />FOR THE PROVISION OF <br /> <br />GANG VIOLENCE SUPPRESSION OVERTIME SERVICES <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this 80- dayof.:r iA-Ub, 2004, which date is <br />enumerated for purposes of reference only, is by and between the COUNTY OF ORANGE, a <br />political subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY," and the <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, hereinafter referred to as "CITY." This Agreement shall be <br />administered by the County of Orange Chief Probation Officer, hereinafter referred to as <br />"ADMINISTRATOR," <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as part of a multi-agency law enforcement task force known as "The Weed <br />& Seed/Directed Team (Site VII)", COUNTY employs a Deputy Probation Officer, hereinafter <br />designated as "DPO", to provide gang violence suppression (GVS) services, on a part time <br />basis, for a target population consisting of adults and minors on probation, residing within <br />CITY'S Weed & Seed Site IIII geographical limits; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CITY desires to contract with COUNTY for the provIsIOn of GVS <br />overtime services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, COUNTY is willing and capable of providing such services through the <br />employment of its assigned DPO. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />
