<br />RESOLUTION 2004-033 <br /> <br />REVENUE <br />ACCOUNT <br /> <br />SECTION V <br /> <br />5215 <br /> <br />5215 <br /> <br />5215 <br /> <br />5215 <br /> <br />5215 <br /> <br />5215 <br /> <br />5215 <br /> <br />5215 <br /> <br />5215 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT/MISCELLANEOUS FEE OR SERVICE <br /> <br />UNIT <br /> <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />No person shan park a vehicle on park property other than in an <br />area designated for parking such vehicle, unless there is an <br />emergency or unless directed to do so by a law enforcement <br />officer. (SAMC 31-2.16C) <br /> <br />Subject to other and more restrictive limitations, a vehicle may <br />be stopped or parked parallel to and within eighteen (18) inches <br />of the left-hand curb, facing in the direction of the traffic <br />movement upon anyone-way street, unless signs are in place <br />prohibiting such stopping or standing. (36-137 SAMC) <br /> <br />Curb parking right-a-way(SAMC 36-146) <br /> <br />Every person violating the provisions of this article by failing or <br />refusing to deposit the proper coin in a parking meter, is guilty <br />of a further and separate violation for each period of time, equal <br />to the maximum lega] parking time for the particular traffic <br />zone, or parking space, as designated by the council, that the <br />vehicle is left so parked. (36-404 SAMC) <br /> <br />No person, on any public parking lot which is municipally <br />owned or operated, shall commit any oflhe following violations. <br />(SAMC 36-432,2, 4, 5, 6) <br /> <br />The police department is authorized and directed to remove and <br />place in storage, at a regular storage garage, any vehicle which <br />is parked on any such parking lot in vio1ation of this article or <br />any vehicle left on any such parking lot for a period exceeding <br />thirty (30) hours, unless special pennission has been granted by <br />the chief of police or the executive director of the community <br />development agency for such extended parking privileges. (36~ <br />434 SAMC) <br /> <br />When the ice cream truck is parked in violation of any other <br />provision of this Code, including, but not limited to, section 36- <br />136 (c), orthe California Vehicle Code.
