Lamps currently used <br />in the left hand turn pockets have a power consumption of 150 watts. <br />The new LED lamps have a power consumption of 15 watts. The City will <br />reduce energy costs by an estimated $20,000 per year, after the new LED <br />lamps are installed. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on April 14-15, 2004, and bids <br />were solicited.
