The <br />MMRS included the coordination of multiple health and first-responder <br />agencies throughout the county in the development of an all-inclusive <br />response and mitigation plan, as well as the identification of training <br />requirements for the MMRS. The MMRS will be a principal resource in <br />responding to the health and medical consequences of large-scale <br />incidents involving weapons of mass destruction. <br /> <br />The equipment list identified under the MMRS plan includes detection <br />instruments and equipment. Equipment purchases include portable gas <br />detection instruments, instrument management systems to automatically <br />test and calibrate the instruments, accessories such as tubes and <br />sensors, as well as maintenance to allow for continuous use of the <br />instruments. The detection instruments will monitor breathing air to <br />ensure safety, and will be used in contaminated areas. <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />22G-1 <br /> <br />CS.383 <br />
