<br />8 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />Additional Services: <br />While these sources represent some of the largest sources in the state, and hold a high degree of funding <br />potential for the City of Santa Ana, they are by no means the only potential sources, nor do they represent <br />the totality of our client service proposal. As a full-service government relations consulting firm, we will <br />engage all our capabilities in service of the City, including: <br /> <br />Sourcing of Additional Funding Programs <br />Full engagement with the City and all of its departments will undoubtedly uncover projects, perhaps on <br />a smaller scale, that are well-positioned for funding from sources that are often overlooked. TPA will <br />work closely with staff to determine projects and funding sources. <br /> <br />Federal Funding Requests <br />In addition to our successful track record in seeking state funding, Townsend Public Affairs, Inc. has <br />also secured funding from federal sources that have greatly benefited our clients. Relying on the <br />support of local congressional champions, TPA has specifically targeted various earmarks in through <br />the federal budget process. TPA will assist in identifying appropriate funding sources for City projects <br />through federal channels. <br /> <br />PROJECT ORGANIZA TION AND STAFFING <br /> <br />Our Core Service Team: <br /> <br />~ Christopher Townsend, President <br />~ Chris Massey, Client Manager <br />~ Sean Fitzgerald, Client Manager <br />~ Isaac Kos-Read, Client Manager <br /> <br />Our service team will work together to develop and implement a government funding and legislative <br />advocacy strategy for the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />Christopher Townsend's focus on this engagement will be continuing networking and advocacy with the <br />various state and federal officials and agencies related to legislative and funding matters. <br /> <br />Chris Massey will be your primary client contact and will ensure day-to-day delivery of service. He will be <br />responsible for the working with your staff on items of interest as it relates to the City's immediate and <br />long-term needs. <br /> <br />Sean Fitzgerald and Isaac Kos-Read will provide support as secondary client managers, contributing their <br />skills and experience in a wide range of areas. <br /> <br />CONTRACT COST <br /> <br />For full-service government and community-relations advocacy we generally charge public sector clients a <br />fee that ranges from $5,000.00 to 7,500.00 per month. However, in recognition of the City's budget <br />constraints and our reduced scope of work, we propose the following payment structure: <br /> <br />$1,666.67 per month including expenses for a one-year period effective June 15, 2004 through <br />June 15, 2005, for a total contract cost not to exceed $20,000.00. <br /> <br />85A-3 <br />
