INSURANCE AU ON FILE <br />WORK MAY kT PROCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />DATE: (o -..) -o � <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br />A-2004-061 <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into on April 5, 2004, <br />by and between Mexican American Opportunity Foundation ("Consultant") and the City <br />of Santa Ana ("City"). <br />Recitals: <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement #A-2003-162, dated July 21, 2003, (hereinafter <br />"said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided vocational/occupational <br />training, employment strategies, education and supportive services to individuals <br />residing in the Federal Empowerment Zone. <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />increase the compensation available to Consultant for additional marketing and <br />outreach efforts provided by Consultant. <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject <br />to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First <br />Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />Section 2.a., COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase the compensation by <br />$5,414.00, for a total amount not to exceed $89,924.00 during the term of said <br />Agreement. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to <br />Agreement on the date and year first written above. <br />ATTEST: <br />PATRICIA E.
