The replenishing of standard size oxygen <br />cylinders is necessary for efficiency and emergency preparedness. The <br />service provider will pick up, refill, and return oxygen cylinders <br />twice weekly to Fire Station No.5. In order to meet Department of <br />Transportation requirements, the vendor will also perform hydrostatic <br />testing of all oxygen cylinders and breathing apparatus on an as needed <br />basis to check for safe pressurization. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on May 5 and 7, 2004, and bids <br />were solicited.
