The property has a General Plan land use designation of <br />General Commercial (GC) and is located within the Arterial Commercial <br />(C5) zoning district. Surrounding land uses include a vacant commercial <br />property and residential uses to the north and west, and commercial uses <br />to the south and east (Exhibit 2). <br /> <br />The subject property is part of the 8.92-acre Home Place Shopping Center <br />on the north side of Seventeenth Street.
