NO. 02-050) <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />QÛJa <br /> <br />CONTINUED TO <br /> <br />FILE NUMBER <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />Renew the contract with Myers & Sons Hi-Way <br />purchase and installation of construction signs, <br />in an annual amount not to exceed $50,000. <br /> <br />8 DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Safety, Inc. for the <br />for a one-year period <br /> <br />The Public Works Agency is responsible for a variety of major <br />improvements to the City's streets, storm drains and sewers, buildings, <br />and parks. Projects approved by City Council are identified with <br />construction signs containing the logo: "a sign of things to come". <br />Signs are used to inform the public of improvements made to the <br />community by the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />On May 20, 2002, the City Council awarded a contract to Myers & Sons <br />Hi-Way Safety, Inc. for a two-year period, with provision for two one- <br />year renewals. Myers & Sons Hi-Way Safety, Inc. continues to maintain <br />the lowest prices available.
