The maintenance includes mowing, <br />trimming and cleaning of the City's landscapes medians, 38 miles of <br />arterial sidewalks, six water reservoir facilities, neighborhood <br />monuments and several City-owned parking structures and lots. On July <br />2, 2001, the City Council awarded a contract to Midori Gardens for a <br />three-year period, with provision for two one-year renewals. The vendor <br />has performed satisfactorily during the current contract period, and <br />staff recommends the first renewal of the contract. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Funds are budgeted and available in the Public Works Agency's Median <br />Landscape account (account no. 11-637-6261), Water Maintenance account <br />(account no. 64-574-6261) , and Environmental Sanitation Other <br />Contractual Services account (account no. 68-632-6291). <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />ßvd/ fl.
