<br />BUSINESS CALENDAR <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-040 - A Resolution of the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana establishing a system for candidates whose <br />statements are submitted to the electorate in the 2004 general election <br />to pay the pro rata share of the cost of inclusion of the statement. <br /> <br />4. Adopt a resolution. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-041 - A resolution of the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana authorizing written arguments for a city measure, <br />and rescinding Resolution No. 79-20 related to rebuttal arguments. <br /> <br />5. Direct the City Attorney to prepare an impartial analysis of the <br />ballot measure. <br /> <br />6. White, Vicky Yamamoto, Paul Giles, <br />Maria Siono, Ginelle Hardy, Dave Hoen, Catherine Cate, Michelle Higbee, <br />Andree Weger, and Glen Stroud supported the adoption of vending <br />vehicle regulations. However many of the speakers expressed concerns <br />relative to the hours of operation, the amount of litter left on the streets, <br />and the length of time the vending trucks park within the neighborhoods. <br />Ms. Gawronski asked the Council to consider seasonal hours which would <br />allow trucks to operate from 9 AM. to 8: P.M. in the summer and 9 A.M. to <br />5 P.M. in the winter.
