<br />One Broadway Plaza <br />Environmental Impact Report <br /> <br />Findings and Facts in Support of Findings <br /> <br />they meet the ventilation requirements of the UBC. This shall be coordinated with the <br />project's mechanical engineer. <br /> <br />N-4. <br /> <br />Prior to any site preparation, grading or construction, the project contractor will provide <br />the Principals at the Orange County High School of the Arts and the El Sol Arts and <br />Science Academy with the project construction schedule indicating the type of <br />construction activity and duration. The project construction schedule shall address all <br />construction activity from the start of the project to completion. <br /> <br />4.2.10 IMPACTS RELATED TO PUBLIC SERVICES <br /> <br />4.2.10.1 Potentially Significant Adverse ImDacts Related to Public Services <br /> <br />As described in detail in Section 3.9 (Public Services) in the EIR, implementation of the project <br />would increase the demand for police protection services and fire and emergency medical <br />services. In addition, the project will generate additional students who would attend schools in <br />the SAUSD. These schools are already overcrowded. School children walking by the project <br />site could wander onto the site and be injured while the project is under construction. <br /> <br />4.2.10.2 Findings Related to Public Services Impacts <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the One Broadway Plaza <br />project which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as identified in <br />the EIR. <br /> <br />4.2.10.3 Facts in SUPDort of the Finding Related to Public Services Im~acts <br /> <br />Implementation of mitigation measures PS-l to PS-12, provided below, will substantially lessen <br />the adverse impacts of the One Broadway Plaza project related to public services, and will <br />reduce these potentially significant adverse impacts to below a level of significance. <br /> <br />PS-l The design of the project parking structure shall confonn to the City of Santa Ana Police <br />Department's design standards for parking structures. <br /> <br />PS-2 The design of the project shall include on-site office spaces for the SAPD which will be <br />shared with anyon-site security staft: Two designated parking spaces will be provided <br />for the SAPD near the main entrance of the proposed One Broadway Plaza project. <br /> <br />PS-3 Prior to issuance of building pennits, the project developer shall submit a construction <br />phasing plan for the proposed project to the SAFD. The plan will be consistent with <br />SAFD Fire Code requirements. Also, the project developer shall provide evidence to the <br />SAFD that the proposed fire protection services will be adequate to serve the proposed <br />project development.
