PROJECT 6029 - LIGHTING On motion of Councilman Herrin, <br /> seconded by Councilman Evans and <br /> unanimously carried, Council ordered <br />filed report of bids received for Project 6029, Construction of Lighting in Delhi <br />Park; awarded contract to the low bidder, Loop Electric Company; and rejected <br />all other bids. <br /> <br />PROJECT 6027 - SANITARY SEWER On motion of Councilman Herrin, <br /> seconded by Councilman Evans and <br /> unanimously carried, Council ordered <br />filed report of bids received for Project 6027, Construction of Sanitary Sewer in <br />Prentice Park; awarded contract to the low bidder, Brage Construction Company; <br />and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />SPEC. 641-188 - POSTAGE MACHINE On motion of Councilman Herrin, <br /> seconded by Councilman Yamamoto <br /> and unanimously carried, Council <br />ordered filed report of bids received for Spec. 641-188, Mail Inserter and Postage <br />Machine (replacement) and awarded contract to the low bidder, Singer Friden <br />Division; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />BID CALLS On motion of Councilman I-Ierrin, <br /> seconded by Councilman Patterson and <br /> unanimously carried, Council approved <br />plans and specifications and authorized advertising for bids for the following: <br /> <br />Spec. 641-191, 4 Permanent Baseball Backstops, opening May 21; <br /> <br />Project 3017, Construction of Sanitary Sewer in St. Gertrude Place <br />from Park Drive to Towner Street in Towner Street from Warner <br />Avenue to Anahurst Place, opening May 22; <br /> <br />Project 7016, Construct Well Pump Houses at Walnut Bristol, West <br />and Cambridge Stations and at Wells 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, <br />opening May 2~. <br /> <br />READING WAIVED On motion of Councilman Herrin, <br /> seconded by Councilman Patterson <br /> and unanimously carried, the full <br />reading of ordinances and resolutions, the titles of which appeared on the public <br />Agenda, was waived. <br /> <br />ORD.
