PROJECT 6032 - RESURFACING On motion of Councilman Patterson, <br /> seconded by Councilman Villa and <br /> unanimously carried, Council ordered <br />filed report of bids received for Project 6032, Resurface Walks in Adams Park and <br />Resurface All-Purpose Court in Jerome Park; awarded contract to the low bidder, <br />Sully-Miller Contracting Company; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />PROJECT 6031 - CENTENNIAL PARK On motion of Councilman Evans, <br />STORAGE BUILDING seconded by Councilman I-Ierrin and <br /> unanimously carried, Council ordered <br />filed report of bids received for Project 6031, Centennial Park Storage Building; <br />awarded contract to the low bidder, Paul Falzon; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />PROJECT 4015 - STORM DRAIN On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded <br />GREENVILLE STREET by Councilman Yamamoto and unanimously <br /> carried, Council ordered filed report of <br />bids received for Project 4015, K-3 Storm Drain in Greenville Street between Sunflower <br />Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard; awarded contract to the low bidder, Bart Pipeline, <br />Inc.; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />BID CALLS <br /> <br />advertising for bids for the following: <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Patterson, <br />seconded by Councilman Herrin, to approve <br />the plans and specifications and authorize <br /> <br />Spec. 371-118 - Asphaltic Concrete, opening July 17; <br />Spec. 271-105 - Asphaltic Slurry Seal, opening July 17; <br />Project 3009 - Construction of Sanitary Sewer in Valencia <br />Street, Seventeenth Street to Virginia and in Virginia Ave. <br />from Valencia to Santiago, opening July 28. <br /> <br />The motion was passed on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />PIerrin, Evans, Markel, Patterson, Villa, Yarnamoto, Griset <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />SURPLUS BUILDINGS - SPR 70-13 After considering Surplus Property Report <br /> 70-13 regarding two surplus buildings at <br /> 1104 Civic Center Drive West, Council <br />declared the buildings surplus and authorized demolition, on motion of Councilman <br />Patterson, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Herrin, Patterson, Villa, Yamamoto, Griset <br />Evans, Markel <br />None <br /> <br />READING WAIVED On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded <br /> by Councilman Patterson and unanimously <br /> carried, the full reading of ordinances and <br />resolutions, the titles of which appeared on the public Agenda, was waived. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />-171- July 6, 1970 <br /> <br /> <br />
