<br />Resolution to Establish Joint <br />Public Hearing Date for Proposed <br />Plan Amendments for the Merger of <br />The Santa Ana Redevelopment Project <br />Areas and Adopt the Report to the <br />City Council <br />July 19, 2004 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING COMMISS:r:ON RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Recommended that the City Council adopt a resolution receiving the <br />Report to the City Council including the Initial Study/Negative <br />Declaration; receiving the Amendments merging the six Redevelopment <br />Projects; and setting the date and time for a joint public hearing <br />with the Community Redevelopment Agency with respect to the <br />proposed plan amendments for the merger of the Santa Ana <br />Redevelopment Project Areas and the Initial Study/Negative <br />Declaration prepared in connection therewith. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Recommended that the Community Redevelopment Agency adopt a <br />resolution approving the Report to the Ci ty Council which <br />incorporates the Initial Study/Negative Declaration prepared for <br />the Amendments merging the six Redevelopment Projects; receiving <br />the Amendments and consenting to a joint public hearing with the <br />City Council with respect to the proposed Amendments to merge the <br />Santa Ana Redevelopment Proj ect Areas; and approving the Ini tial <br />Study/Negative Declaration prepared in connection therewith. <br /> <br />By a vote of 7:0 at its Regular Meeting of June 15, 2004. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Recommended that the City Council: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Approve and adopt <br />No. 2004-34. <br /> <br />the Negative <br /> <br />Environmental Review <br /> <br />Declaration, <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Adopt a resolution finding that the proposed redevelopment plan <br />merger amendments conform to the Santa Ana General Plan. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Approve the Redevelopment Plan Amendment. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Find that the Redevelopment Plan Amendment <br />the City's General Plan. <br /> <br />is in <br /> <br />conformity with <br /> <br />By a vote of 7:0 at its Regular Meeting of June 14, 2004. <br /> <br />55A-2 <br />
