<br />Land Use Element <br /> <br />Policy 5.12 (page 15): Provide appropriate permanent measures to reduce storm water <br />pollutant loads in storm water from a development site. <br /> <br />Action (Policy) 5.5 (page 25): Ensure that post-development hydrology and storm <br />water runoff rates and velocities from a site have no significant adverse impact on <br />downstream erosion and stream habitat. <br /> <br />Action (Policy) 5.6 (page 26): Minimize the quantity of storm water directed to <br />impermeable surfaces or system of conveyances (including roads with drainage <br />systems, municipal streets, catch basins, curbs, gutters, ditches, man-made channels or <br />storm drains) and maximize the percentage of permeable surfaces to allow more <br />percolation of storm water into ground. <br /> <br />Action (Policy) 5.7 (page 26): Encourage the use of water quality wetlands, biofiltration <br />swales, watershed-scale retrofits, etc. where such measures are likely to be effective <br />and technically and economically feasible. <br /> <br />~Þ:~1 <br />
