VARIANCE 69-73 <br />RESOLUTION 69-181 - (Continued) <br /> <br />Prior to the motion Mr. Hugh H. Foreman, Jr., explained that Condition <br />NOG 8 called for ~ exchange of property between the owner of the proposed <br />mobilehome park site and the Santa Ana School District; that the School <br />District is not presently interested in the exchange; and that the condition <br />should therefore be amended to provide that no building permit co~lld be <br />issued for development of the land presently owned by the School District <br />until the applicant had submitted a grant deed indicating that the land <br />trade had been completed. Mr o Foreman added that this would then allow <br />for the development of a mobilehome park on the remainder of the land <br />covered by the variance regardless of whether or not the land was ever <br />exchanged. <br /> <br />WALKWAY CLOSURE Letters from Thomas <br />LOUISE STREET L. Thorkelson and <br /> Virgil Co Lorenz dated <br />November 17 and November 20, respectively, regarding the proposed <br />closure of the pedestrian walkway at the north end of the Louise Street <br />cul-de-sac at Memory Lane, authorized by Council on April 20, 1970 <br />at property owner's' expense, were referred to staff for report on December <br />21, on Councilman Markel's motion, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto <br />and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE On motion of Council- <br />LICENSE APPLICATIONS man Herrin, seconded <br /> by Councilman Evans <br />and unanimously carried, Council ordered filed the following Alcoholic <br />Beverage License Applications: <br /> <br />7-Eleven, 1206 So Standard, Off Sale Beer & Wine, Person <br />Transfer; <br />Six-Sixteen, 616 E. 4th, On Sale General, Person Transfer; <br />Blinking Owl, 310-12 No Birch, On Sale General, Person <br />Transfer; <br />Tony Vega General Store, 1139 Wo 4th, New Off Sale Beer <br />& Wine. <br /> <br />VARIANCE AND On motion of Councilman <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT Patterson, seconded by <br /> Councilman Herrin and <br />unanimously carried, Council adopted the findings of fact ~ conclusions <br />and decisions of the Planning Commission or Zoning Administrator as <br />actions of the City Council on the following: <br /> <br />VA 70-57, FRANKLIN, BALCOM - construct 22 unit motel <br />in the R i and C 1 Districts at 1920 W° 17th St° - APPROVED; <br />VA 70-64, HAROLD GRIFFIN- construct building addition in <br />the required 10! rear yard in the C 2 District a~,d ~e~x~it vt~ <br />storage and change offstreet parking design in the R 2 District <br />at 3501 W. 1st - APPROVED; <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL -352- November 30~ 1970 <br /> <br /> <br />
