Mrs. Palmer submitted a letter of appeal <br />(Exhibit 1) on April 12, 2004 stating her reasons for declining the <br />register listing. The request to appeal the Historic Resources <br />Commission decision is based on: 1) the opinion that the structure is not <br />of great historical significance, 2) the structure is a multiple family <br />residence, 3) proximity to "non-historic" commercial businesses, 4) <br />.limitations to redevelop the property in conjunction with the First <br />Street and Broadway corridor, and 5) concerns with potential limitations <br />on future selling price (Exhibit 1). <br /> <br />75A-1 <br />
