To <br />implement the proj ect, the Olson Company has requested that the City <br />vacate a 5.17-foot wide portion of the Sycamore Street sidewalk between <br />Second and Third Streets (Exhibit 1). The area to be vacated is within <br />the existing Sycamore easterly sidewalk. <br /> <br />Sycamore Street will be narrowed by 5.17 feet, on-street parking along <br />the east side of the street will be eliminated, and street lighting and <br />trees will be relocated accordingly. The Olson Company will reconstruct <br />the east curb and sidewalk so that the curb aligns with the <br />corresponding Sycamore Street curb between First Street and Second <br />Street. <br /> <br />The utility companies, other government agencies, and City Departments <br />have been contacted and reviewed this street vacation request as to <br />potential impacts. No adverse impacts were reported. <br /> <br />There are no City or public owned utilities within the vacated area. <br />Utility easements will not need to be reserved. Drainage and traffic <br />circulation will not be impacted by the deletion of the portion of <br />Sycamore Street sidewalk. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />75D-1 <br />
