Following the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, <br />the Invocation was given by the Rev° Ramon Daniel of the Assembly of God <br />Church. <br /> <br />SPECIAL RECOGNITION The Mayor presented Certificates <br /> of Appreciation for outstanding <br /> service to the City of Santa Aha to <br />Everett Parks, who served on the Planning Commission for eight years, and <br />to David Hayes, who served on the Personnel Board for four years. <br /> <br />AUCTION SALE OF CITY The Mayor announced the sale of <br />OWNED REAL PROPERTY real property located at the north- <br /> west corner of Civic Center and <br />Townsend (Surplus Property Report 71-06); on which the City had received a <br />bid of $5j 000 from Mr. Juan Pantoja through Ponce Realty. The Mayor <br />invited additional bids on the property from anyone present; after three calls <br />with no response, the Mayor declared the property sold to Mr. Pantoja and <br />instructed him to deliver to the Clerk of the Council his written statement of <br />bid.
