VA 70-23 <br />PACIFIC INVESTMENTS - (Continued) <br /> <br />Councilman Patterson's motion, seconded by Councilman Villa, lo receive <br />and file the letter from Van Stevens, carried on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Patterson, Villa, Evans, Herrin, Griset, Yamamoto, Markel <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES League of California Cities letter <br />ANNUAL CONFERENCE, dated July 26, 1971, requested that <br />SEPTEMBER 26 - 29, 1971 each City Council designate a voting <br /> representative and an alternate <br />voting representative to tbs Annual League Conference in San Francisco, <br />September 26 - 29, 1971. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Villa, seconded by Councilman Herrin, and <br />unanimously carried, Mayor Griset was appointed the Council's voting <br />representative to the Conference. Councilman Villa's motion, seconded by <br />Councilman Yamamoto, to appoint Councilman Patterson as the alternate <br />voting representative to the Conference, carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RECESS <br /> <br />Council members present. <br /> <br />At 3:25 P.M., a ten-minute recess <br />was declared. The meeting re- <br />convened at 3:35 P. M., with all <br /> <br />DEEDS, NO CASH Council ordered filed the report <br />GRANTEE, CITY of No Cash Deeds accepted by the <br /> City Manager, pursuant to <br />Resolution No. 69-156, from July 14 through July 28, 1971, inclusive, on <br />motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Evans, and <br />unanimously carried. <br /> <br />DEEDS WITH CASH On motion of Councilman Herrin, <br />GRANTOR, CITY seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, <br /> and unanimously carried, the <br />following deed was approved, and the Mayor was authorized to sign all <br />necessary documents in connection with the sale: <br /> <br />DONALD McKEE, north side of Santa Ana Boulevard on <br />the east side of Fuller with no access to Santa Aha Boulevard, <br />sale of surplus land (SPR 42-69 approved by Council on <br />January 5, 1970). <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL -265- August 2, 1971 <br /> <br /> <br />
