This software-training device has enabled
the Police Department to maintain an in-house perishable Skills Force
Option Course. The program has prevented the Department from having to
send officers to a California Police Officer Standard and Training (POST)
Regional Skills Training Center, saving thousands of dollars in training
related expenses. The Range 2000 system has provided a means of training
the officer's firearms using a "real-life" interactive approach. The
Range 2000 is now six years old and has become outdated and many of its
components are no longer supported by the manufacturer.

Under the terms of this agreement, IES Interactive Training
the department an upgrade to the Range 3000 software system
department to use the new advanced software containing the
certified training scenarios.

will provide
allowing the
updated POST

25E-1
