The installation of physical fitness equipment at <br />fire stations encourages firefighters to exercise regularly for optimum <br />performance. The acquisition will replace three existing 17-year-old <br />irreparable StairMaster machines in three stations and provide a new <br />leg extension/leg curl machine for Station No.5. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on May 19 and 21, <br />bids were solicited.
