<br />e)~lÜbit high quality design and should incorporate design <br />elements that are proportional and aesthetically related to the <br />District seLting. <br /> <br />The architectural style proposed for this project lS <br />contemporary with some craftsman and MediLerranean influences. <br />The exterior material proposed includes tile roof, stucco, <br />precast concrete stone veneer, and decorative window surrounds. <br />Arched windows and porches are features used on the elevations <br />to characterize the Spanish Mediterranean architectural style. <br /> <br />Through the City's development review process, the proposed <br />project was determined to be consistent with the City's Urban <br />Design Element and compatible with the existing aesthetic <br />pnvironment wiLhin the ro-ject area. .TheTefore, implementation <br />of the proposed proj ect would not decrease the existlng ..vls.ua <br />characLer of the project site or surrounding project area. <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />Create a new source of substantial light or glare, which <br />would adversely affect day or nighttime views in the area? <br /> <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />The proj ect site lS situated within an urbanized area and is <br />surrounded by onstreet lighting. ImplementatioL of the proposed <br />pro] ect would not introduce substantial amounts of new sources <br />of light and glare into the project area.
