<br />While adverse, construction, when performed in compliance with <br />the requirements of the Municipal Code is typical~y considered <br />to be less than significant. However, construction noise <br />associated with the proj ect would have the potential to create <br />nuisance noise at nea~by residential land uses. To minimize <br />short -term construction noise impacts the following mitigation <br />measures shall be implemented. <br /> <br />Mitigation Measures <br /> <br />E. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Grading Plans and Building Plans for the proposed project <br />shall note that construction activities on the project site <br />shall not take place between the hours of 8;00 p.m. and <br />7:00 a.m. on weekdays, including Saturday, or any time on <br />Sunday or a federal holiday. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />No construction equipment on the project site shall <br />including warming up until after 7:00 a.m. <br /> <br />operate <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />All construction equipment shall be properly maintained and <br />tuned to minimize noise emissions. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />All equipment shall be fitted with properly operating <br />mufflers and air intake silencers. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Stockpiling and vehicle staging areas shall be located away <br />from existing residential uses. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The name and telephone number of a contact person shall be <br />posted on-site. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Construction shall be subject to any and all provisions set <br />forth by the City of Santa Ana Planning Department. <br /> <br />For a proj ect located wi thin an airport land use plan or <br />where such a plan has not been adopted, within two miles of <br />a public airport or public use airport, would the proj ect <br />expose people residing or working in the proj ect area to <br />excessive noise levels? <br /> <br />No Impact <br /> <br />Þ"ccording to the Orange County Þ"irport Environs Land Use Plan, <br />the pro=ect site is not located within an area that is subject <br />to high levels Gf aircraft noise.
