Following the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the <br />Invocation was given by Brigidier Goldthwaite of the Salvation Army. <br /> <br />The Mayor presented Certificates of Appreciation to Mr. Lorenzo Rios and Mr. <br />John Black for their service on the Human Relations Commission. The Rev. <br />Galal Gough accepted the certificates on behalf of the former Commissioners. <br /> <br />The Mayor announced that Mr. Louis Chavez and Lt. Col. G.E. Wasson were <br />selected by the Council to fill the vacancies on the Human Relations Commission. <br />Mr. Chavez and Col.
