RES. 72-31 RESOLUTION NO. 72-31 OF THE <br />CONDEMNATION OF REAL CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA ANA <br />PROPERTY AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION <br /> OF REAL PROPERTY FOR THE <br />WIDENING OF SEVENTEENTH STREET FROM MAIN TO ROSS was adopted on <br />motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Evans, and unanimously <br />carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Patterson arrived at 2:20 P0 M. <br /> <br />TRAFFIC AND STREET LIGHTS In response to Councilman Evans' <br />BRISTOL AND MAC ARTHUR question, the Director of Public <br /> Works stated that flashing red signals <br />have been installed at the intersection of Bristol and MacArthur; that temporary <br />lighting could be installed by the Edison Company for approximately $2,000; that <br />lights being installed in connection with the adjacent development would be in <br />operation by the end of March. <br /> <br />Councilman Herrin's motion, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, to receive and <br />file the staff report dated March 16, 1972, carried on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Herrin, Yamamoto, Griset, <br />NOES: Evans, Markel <br />ABSENT: Villa <br /> <br />Patterson <br /> <br />FOUR-WAY STOP CONTROLS Councilman Markel's motion, seconded <br />WARRANT RECOMMENDATIONS by Councilman Yamamoto, to receive <br /> and file report of Combination of <br />Warrants for Four-Way Stop Control dated March 16, 1972, was carried unanimously. <br /> <br />DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT FEES On motion of Councilman Herrin, <br /> seconded by Councilman Patterson, <br /> and unanimously carried, Council <br />set the Drainage Assessment Fee ordinance for public hearing on April 3, 197g. <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Councilman Yamamoto requested that <br />some action be taken to control dogs <br />and cats running loose within the City. <br /> <br />Councilman Evans stated that he had received a letter from Mrs. Windsor C. Louie, <br />130 E. 6th Street, Tustin, concerning her home on Pacific Avenue; that she had <br />received notice from the Parks Department to remove a tree from in front of the <br />house at her expense;-that it was his understanding the City would remove the tree <br />and replace it with a new one. He asked that staff check into the matter. <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Hail, 2530 N. Glassell, requested approval of Final Tract Map #7645 <br />stating that his firm had failed to provide certain information in time for the item <br />to be included on the agenda° <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Patterson, seconded by Councilman Evans, and unanimously <br />carried, Council approved the following map: <br /> <br />FINAL TRACT MAP #7645 - Filed by Standard-Pacific Corporation <br />for 55 lots located on the south side of Segerstrom Avenue and west <br />of Raitt Street. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL -118- March 20, 1972 <br /> <br /> <br />
