MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA AHA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />April 12, 1972 · <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M., in the Mayor's Office, Room 303, <br />City Hall, 217 North Main Street, with the following Councilmen present: Ray <br />Villa, Vernon S. Evans, Wade Serrin, Harry K. Yamamoto, J. Ogden Markel, <br />and Mayor Lorin Griset. Councilman Jerry M. Patterson arrived at 4:10 P. Mo <br />Also present were City Manager Carl J. Thornton, City Attorney James A. <br />Withers, Clerk of the Council Florence I. Malone and representatives of the <br />Los Angeles Times and The Register newspapers. Evidence of proper Notice <br />of the meeting was on file with the Clerk. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION It was moved by Councilman Herrin, <br /> seconded by Councilman Evans and <br /> unanimously carried, to adjourn to <br />executive session to consider the appointment of a City Manager. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />At 5:40 P~M., Mayor Griset adjourned <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />Florence I.
