ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSE APPLICATIONS (Continued) <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Villa, Griset, Markel <br />Yamamo/o, Evans, Herrin, Patterson <br />None <br /> <br />In discussion, it was stated that the applicants operate 44 stores, and since <br />1965 have had seven violations; that the present operator has had two or <br />three violations overthe same period of time with only one store. Council- <br />man Villa stated that the number of stores operated should have no effect; <br />that if there has been a violation, a protest should be lodged. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Patterson, and <br />unanimously carried, Council received and ordered filed the following <br />application for Alcoholic Beverage License: <br /> <br />SANTA ANA LIQUOR, 1430 W. First Street, Off Sale General, <br />Person to Person Transfer. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Evans, and <br />carried on a 6 - 1 vote, Councilman Yamamoto dissenting, the following <br />applications were received and filed: <br /> <br />THE RED TURTLE, 1019 S. Fairview, On Sale General, Person <br />to Person Transfer. <br /> <br />TREIMER, THOMAS H., 308 N. Euclid, On Sale Beer, Person <br />to Person Transfer. <br /> <br />VARIANCES AND Councilman Herrin's motion to <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS receive and file the following <br /> Variance Application was seconded <br />by Councilman Markel, and carried on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />VA 72-51, INON INC. - To allow replacement of an existing <br />pole sign which is less than 300 feet from another sign on the <br />same property in the C 2 and M 1 Districts at 1502 Em First <br />Street; APPROVED. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Herrin, Markel, Villa, Evans, Griset <br />Yamamoto, Patterson <br />None <br /> <br />VA 72-42 Councilman Yamamoto stated that <br />MARTIN TREVINO this Variance Application concerns <br /> moving a building and asked if any <br />time limit had been placed on the move.
