General Motors and Ford Original <br />Equipment Manufacture (OEM) automotive and truck parts are required for <br />the preventive maintenance of City-owned vehicles. The repair parts <br />are non-stock and purchased on an as-needed basis for emergency <br />purposes, and delivered promptly to the City's Corporate Yard. <br /> <br />Parts that are purchased for Chevrolet and Ford vehicles include such <br />i terns as: starters, al ternators, antennas, mirrors, door handles and <br />locks, fan kits, hazard signal light knobs, and ignition locks. In <br />addition, vehicles are sent out to dealer shops for repairs requiring <br />Chevrolet and Ford certification to maintain the warranty coverage. <br /> <br />22C-1 <br /> <br />CS. 383 <br /> <br />
